Bandwidth control and optimization in 815Gateway occur at various levels and in different forms.

An optimization is done at the network interface level so as not to saturate them and make the most of them. A control and ordering is also done at the level of the internet capacity that the equipment has.

In turn, rules can be defined for the internal distribution of the bandwidth according to the capacity of the network, taking into account the capacities of the nodes through which the clients access.

Advanced bandwidth control

The bandwidth control that 815Gateway performs, was designed to control, optimize, improve customer experience, while saving and taking into account the capabilities of the network, and its design. Also, it is designed to handle the competitions that occur within the client's place, nowadays, in any place there are many devices competing for bandwidth. 815Gateway organizes and attends to the different bandwidth streams, so that no device affects the service of the others, even reaching the assigned bandwidth limits. Also, it is very noticeable if a single device is making use of the bandwidth, since it equally distributes the resource among the different applications that require it.

Precise and sophisticated firewall per client

815Gateway provides a firewall capable of global controls, integrity, destinations, as per client, number of connections established and at the speed they are established, services enabled or blocked, with a guarantee of resources according to service. If the user makes a normal use, he will not notice that there is something controlling, but on the other hand, if due to a virus, or an application that behaves in an improper way, the control will be applied, and it will make the network they remain stable.

Control set by volume

815Gateway collects information to know how many gigabytes each connection downloaded and uploaded, and then, based on the total, allows decisions to be made; such as lowering the maximum bandwidth for that connection.

Statistics collection

The system collects a large amount of information, and then presents it analyzed and summarized. Latency, loss, bandwidth, signal levels or significant data to diagnose different technologies such as ftth or wireless.

Provisioning for ftth networks

Managing an ftth network in an efficient and orderly way is a challenge, for that 815Gateway has a set of tools, both to know the status of the olt, onus, and to correctly configure the olt, without forcing the user to have a sophisticated knowledge of technology. Also, the settings that are achieved automatically have been finely tested, and confirmed with olt experts so that the olt performs at its best. At the same time, 815Gateway provides tools to check the order and status of all registered equipment. The registration and configuration of the onu is done through profiles, previously tested and optimized so that each onu is configured correctly.

Monitoring of the main network equipment

Via ping or snmp queries 815Gateway goes through the network, to know the status of the equipment.

Remote configuration of client computers

By integrating with the tr069/ACS protocol 815Gateway allows managing the configurations of the cpe and Wi-Fi routers, such as network name and password, in a centralized way.

Support for ftth, wireless, adsl and mixed networks

815Gateway is based on standards, which allows it to be used in a variety of different network and configuration schemes.
Service configurable by static IP, dhcp and/or pppoe. Depending on the need of the isp, the last mile technology or the taste, the cpe can be configured in different ways, and also have mixed scenarios.

Easily integrated with billing systems
